Age 81 of Edina. Preceded in death by parents, Phillip and Hattie Short. Survived by loving husband of 58 years, J. Bertram; daughter, Rita (David) Juda; son, Steven Press (Jody Cohen Press); grandchildren, Phillip and Allison Juda. Truen had a Bachelor’s Degree from Macalester College and taught 1st grade at Webster Elementary in St. Paul. She was an active parent and grandparent and loved being involved in everyone’s activities.

Funeral service FRIDAY, 12:30PM, TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2324 Emerson Ave. S., Mpls. Memorials preferred to the donor’s favorite charity. SHIVA: Temple Israel (Sunday 7:00PM).
